Competitive camps

During the training days the following aspects will be touched upon to improve technique both on the track and in the poles.

  • free field: starting from an individual analysis of the technical setup, specific work will be carried out on the track to improve the basic technique, development of gold level curve arcs, development of coordination and timing of movements. This methodology has the aim of making it easier to adapt the motor gesture to the poles, or to the needs of those who have to prepare for the masters selections, and to make competitive skiing more efficient and effective.
  • giant/slalom: giant slalom and/or special slalom training between the poles in which you can adapt your skiing to the characteristics of the track. Teaching aids such as dwarf poles, tufts and various markings will be used to improve skiing strategy and technique for competitive skiing. Use of the stopwatch during descents as a tool for verifying technical progress.
  • earphones and video recording: on some training days the coach-athlete audio connection will be used via radio with earphones for LIVE advice during skiing in the open field and/or in the poles. The video footage will be a further tool for the athlete to verify his attitude and to compare himself with the coach both at the end of the descent and during the ascent. In this way the training will have less downtime and learning will be faster.
  • material tests: days of material tests will be organized with various companies in order to best choose your equipment based on your own feelings, the coach’s advice, and the results on the stopwatch and video. This proposal is addressed to those who carry out the training and/or accompanying them (preventive communication required to verify availability), the dates of implementation will be communicated well in advance in order to encourage the best participation.
